TIME from the UK (1975) in a new rip, lossless available...




Probably most know this already, information here.  It's quite amazing how well these guys imitated our old heroes of prog rock, Yes.  My friend bought it and rerecorded it, a poor mp3 rip was circulating forever but really didn't do it justice.

A track like Violence is almost ridiculous in its overall inventiveness, an entire LP's worth of great rock ideas packed into one song:





I particularly love it when electric guitars play chromatic notes.  It takes such mastery of the instrument to go beyond those rote chord fingerings and indulge in the chromatics, particularly when you get into minor seconds and such that require such stretch.
Note the absence of keyboards in this band.  What a shame they couldn't record another LP!
