Hiroki Tamaki and S.M.T. - Time Paradox, 1975; Helpful Soul First Album and Thousand and one Nights, 1969, by request

The only release from this group.

Note that the leader made a lot of OST library stuff, anybody know if it's worth acquiring?

The lovely violin composition

The title track is, of course, a wonderful exercise in classical prog:

Helpful Soul on the other is standard proto-blues rock stuff, not proggy.

  4. Midsummer night magic flows from the Time Paradox!
What a varied multi-jeweled treasure trove!!
....fits in perfectly with the wild summer twilight.....firefly circus,
    rolling surf in the leaves,
    majestic, mysterious and beautiful -
the electronic and trumpet touches, with a cool trippy Lp cover, complete the scene :)
Thank you so much Julian, a great surprise & addition to the prog collection.....one that deserves to be heard more!
Now I found the Helpful Soul's 1001 Night soundtrack quite enjoyable....some nice themes in there....
a definite step-up from their debut
....funny how a wild-eyed rave review can still influence,
    even when you know better!
Once read a review of their First Lp and said it had one standout track that separated them from the rest of Japanese blues bands -
"Peace For Fools"......a, quote, "Kim Fowleyan masterpiece of Jim Morrison mystical doggerel/truly inspired nihilist genius."
:D ....it is the best song on the album for sure and not bad,
    but once again... ;)
...my curious listener side is always happy to hear new things while filling in those mysterious ole wish-list blank spots on the map
    Thanks again bro
gratitude to the generous heart filling so many rare requests
and always sharing good new tunes :)
