Beautiful all-instrumental RIO type guitar music similar to Samla Mammas (which even the cover resembles) or Lars Hollmer, with the folk / RIO mixture of instrumental craziness, first track:
I guess it doesn't happen every day we find something that has not even appeared on discogs, so far as I know that is. Even a search for the artists doesn't help all that much.
Let's just enjoy the music.

This is a compilation of rehearsal takes from 2001, released last year. Good music.
ReplyDeleteYou are right Julian, Eino Haapala substituted Coste Apetrea on the phase 'Zamla', so the guitar is the same. Hasse Bruniusson also were from Samla since the first record. The others worked with him together on Flying Food Circus
ReplyDeletefrom Discogs:
In 2002, Bruniusson recorded his second album Hasse Bruniusson - Flying Food Circus and then used the title name to form a touring band alongside Håkan Almkvist (of Ensemble Nimbus), Bobbo Andersson and Erik Lidholm.
Members:
Bobbo Andersson, Erik Lidholm, Håkan Almkvist, Hasse Bruniusson

ReplyDeleteWhile we're in Scandinavia, would you know of the 1981 album Andromeda by the Danish reed player Per Carsten? Among the players on board is Poul Halberg, Bo Stief and Kenneth Knudsen. Been looking for it for years.
