Information on this totally forgotten artist can be found here.
The first album, Afro-Rock from 1971, is purely generic library instrumentals.
If anyone has the missing two cassette-only works, please share them!
From the 1978 work, the opener 27 FQP is just stunning, exciting electric latin fusion, reminding me of the great Virgilio:

Haha, I enjoyed those so-called "purely generic library instrumentals" (which they simply aren't) a lot more than Contactos.
ReplyDeleteI should have learned to be careful with comments along those lines; from this blog I learned that music I personally don't like is always going to be deeply loved by someone else out there, that's music...
ReplyDeleteI agree with Tuxphon underneath. I've come to learn that we enjoy a lot of the same music, but often for different reasons and sometimes with (vastly) different favorites. So I don't mind. It might happen that some visitors skip downloading an album they could potentially love because of you're outspoken distaste. But regulars should know by now that you rarely seem to enjoy fusions of Jazz (Rock) with anything World/Ethnic inspired. Something I often do.
DeleteNo, don't. I like your opinion, even it is not always the same as mine.
ReplyDeleteBTW, the rip of Afro Rock is not too good - the boundaries between songs is off; the first file ends after a few notes of the second song which are missing from the second and so on ...
