Craft Innspillinger fra 73-89

I know nothing about this beyond the images above, and there is clearly a paucity of information online partly due to the commonness of the band name.  It's unfortunate that it's such a short CD because all 5 of the tracks, which vary a lot in style covering as they do a period of 16 years, are phenomenal progressive rock of the classic variety, for example, Kaipa or my old and eternal favourite Atlas Bla Vardag with the hammond organ / electric guitar construction of the instrumentals.

Last track called Libre, clearly recorded in the eighties with its digital keys:

  2. Norwegian band from Bærum (right outside of Oslo) formed in 1973 under the name Skagerock and later Nirvana, before they took the name Craft. Started up as a Deep Purple inspired band but moved more and more towards symphonic Prog-inspired music such as Pink Floyd and Focus. Had some concerts in 1974, among other things. at Chateau Neuf and Høvikodden, in the latter place together with St. Helena. The band later moved more towards jazz rock styles.

"Age of 80" was recorded in 1973 while they were still named "Nirvana". "Focus III" & "Libro" are from 1974, "Valdres Plass" is a 1976 live recording from Høvikodden (an Art Center) and the second version of "Libro" is a 1989 re-recording by Crafts drummer Pål Søvik "and friends".
