We all know and love these guys. This was requested a long time ago and it finally turned up recently--well, not so recently if you take covid-19 into account. Luckily the sound is very good and it barely sounds live at all, a plus for myself. All info can be
found here--notice
Didier Lockwood is on violin, quite recognizably so I would say. Bob Malach on saxes, plus Aldo Romano and Bo Stief.
The track called Sorabble, with its puzzling title but pleasing sound:

Thank you so much!!!!!!
DeleteCorrectomundo, thanks for the extra mile!
ReplyDelete...there's an album from Montreaux, recorded by Van't Hof one year earlier. It's also with Bob Malach on sax, but there is Alphonse Mouzon and Miroslav Vitous in the rhythm section. And Bob Malach's CD "Some People" with Van't Hof on keys was released in 1980. In other words: Thanks for a missing piece :)...
