By Request, Carel Heinsius Band - Jazz On The Rock from 1986 [lossless limited time only]

Again take a look at how dismal the standard for artwork became in the CD department compared to the old days of LPs.

So late in the day, but we can still squeeze a wee bit of fusion enjoyment out of this record.  Note there is no other release here for this particular bandCarel Heinsius himself appeared in a sparse few other LPs notably two earlier ones called Hardop Gedacht.  Not a lot of info on those either.

Here he does all the composing except for one track, plus vocals, keys, arranging, etc., etc.  It's mostly lighter fusion and resembles not a little the previous posting but occasionally strays as if unconsciously into more composed, intellectual territory.  Consider the track called Nostalgia:

There are a couple of other songs similar to this one, I'll let you look for them.  Note that the tracklist on discogs is different from the one on my record which is missing the track called There is only one, from the CD.  Sorry about that chief.  If you can put up with the cover, just buy the CD maybe.
