Marco Persichetti's Il Tempo etc.

Mentioned before as one of my favourite library records of all time, along with Rocchi's Magic Keys.  This little gem came out in the surprisingly late year of 1984, and demonstrates absolutely zero evidence of that Orwellian year versus belonging actually to the mid to late seventies.  God bless those artists who ignored their zeitgeists!  And for library artists of course, we have been surprised by this before.  I don't really know if this amazing composer made more, other than that subsequent Noi Quattro which was equally gorgeous and expensive.

Consider the second song, E Volando con Te:

While the title track really really recalls the magic of Rocchi we know and love so much:

Pretty sure everyone out there who has not heard this before will be shocked and delighted by the magical enchantment and variety of the emotions crammed together into this mini masterpiece.

  2. Unfortunately one of my external hard drives has been irreparably destroyed. The John McLaughlin Montreux concerts album was also on this storage and unfortunately I have no chance of reconstructing the hard drive. Do you have this album and could you post it? You would make me really happy with it and yeah, I know I should have made a backup.

  3. The first notes hit like a 5D pink laser beam and instant transportation takes one away, far away from this terrible 5G frankenstein-monster hoodwink nightmare that tries to pass itself off as 'reality'...
...this, however, is so groovy, it calls for fresh coffee & some serious smoke clouds :)
I see festive colored lights, a tropical veranda
flowers smile, picking up those good vibrations...
It was late down the afternoon
cresting a great green hill, golden glows filled our vision
and we ran like children, comforting grass lush
an old brother crow flew overhead, cawing out hello...

...wow that last track is so out-of-sight! cowbell ascended!!
A crowning gem in a stunning array
Thank You so much brother Julian!

  5. This is simply very nice music, easy listening for sure, but I dig it when it's done like that.

Thank you very much Julian for this great share!
